Meet the Boogie Board, by iMPROV Electronics... A "... paperless LCD Writing Tablet..." Size: 8.8" x 5.6" x 1/8" thick. Weight: 4.2 ounces. Very simple and a more modern version of the 'Etch-a-Sketch' - you write a note on it with the included stylus, which can then be wiped by pressing a button. It only uses energy when wiping, and is rated for approximately 50,000 erases. Eventually the battery will die and you'll have to toss it out because the battery can not be swapped out...
No, it can't save, though this supposedly will be available in a future version. It's simple and does exactly what it is designed for. Who says technology has to be complex?
