OK, so Sceptre's Luna 100W is actually a MP3 player plus a pocket projector, but it's clearly the projector that oozes gadget... Does it live up to expectations?

In the box you get the Luna player, earphones, 1 USB-micro-USB cable, a quick start guide and a mini CD manual, a 2 GB micro SD card, and 3 different (black, blue, and pink!) skins... OK, so you first need to charge the player for 4 hours (per the instructions) prior to use, so it will be an overnight affair!

At 3.32" x 1.74" x 0.8" inches and 2.6 oz, it's a little chunky for an MP3 player, but remember, it's also a projector, so not too shabby. The front and back are plastic, but in a metal housing, so it feels very solid. However, it's let down by the cheap-feeling , plastic, 'clickety' control buttons.

Back the next a.m. to try out the projector.

The "originals" are below for comparison...

Initial verdict? Five lumens isn't bright enough... Also, if you are going to project movies there needs to be an external speaker for the soundtrack, unless you are going to do that as a solitary exercise, plugged in with the earphones - which would seem to be rather counter-intuitive for a device like this...
