Live by the code...

The 'In the wild' and 'In the wild - II' blog entries gave real world examples of the use of QR codes, the latter referencing Best Buy's implementation. While the QR code provided a lot of useful information, it was all specific to Best Buy....


Plugging the 1-D UPC code into the Mobiletag application showed that the identical item could be had from another retailer for $639.99 rather than the store's $764.99, a savings of $125 (ignoring any possible shipping charges).



Ah, live by the bar code... die by the bar code...
