An earlier look at Scanlife had confirmed that it was a very reliable QR reader... However, in December 2009 I had no luck with UPC/EAN codes... Trying it again, it turns out that whatever was the problem before is no longer operative. The software read and returned information when used on a number of books (see two examples below)
