In the entries listed below this blogger looked beyond the elections to see what might be the outcomes. However, there are some post-electoral projections that can be made with absolute certainty:
- The winning candidate and his campaign advisors will suddenly become geniuses. They'll pontificate re how they knew this outcome all along and were never in doubt of the outcome; and will also be able to tell you with certainty exactly why they won and when...
- The losing candidate and his campaign advisors will suddenly become goats. Everyone and their cousin will be able to tell you with certainty all the mistakes they made and exactly when they made them... as well as what they should have done instead, and when...
- All the news commentators and pundits will express no surprise - after all, they saw it coming all along; knew exactly what the winning candidate did right and when; and exactly what the losing candidate did wrong, and when.
The 'stock' of the winner's fund-raisers, advisors, front men, pollsters, etc. will go up and they will command higher fees.... until during a future election their candidate loses, and it is their turn to become the goats...
