Revelation, Discovery...

Dennis Quaid has discovered hospital errors, quote "They (mistakes) happen in every hospital in every state in this country and…I've come to find out, there's 100,000 people a year killed...in hospitals by medical mistakes. "It’s bigger than AIDS. It’s bigger than breast cancer. It’s bigger than automobile accidents and yet, no one seems to be really aware of the problem."



I guess he missed "To Err is Human", the seminal IOM report released way back in 1999, and the subsequent years of discussions/efforts to improve the situation....  "The mistake occurred because the vials of Hep-lock and Heparin look alike say the Quaids... Aargh, please, he needs to read Color-Coding - Is this a good idea??
